Why is time an important factor when analyzing the crime dataset?
Our dataset had values for hour, day, month, and year that the crimes were committed. Using this information, we were able to analyze different trends involving when crimes were more likely to occur. For example, we analyzed incidents per month and found that crimes were more prevalent during summer/warmer months. When analyzing how many crimes occur each hour of the day, we found that most crimes were prevalent during the evening.
