What did we learn about crimes in locations when analyzing the dataset?
Our dataset had values for longitude, latitude, street and district code. We used longitude and latitude to create a map for our visualization, but most of our analysis was based off of district. We found that the most amount of crimes occur in Roxbury, while the least was in Charlestown. When we isolated the type of crime and filtered by district, we found that different types of crimes were more prevalent in different districts. For example, South End had the highest number of incidences for larceny, while Roxbury was third. While Roxbury has the highest number of incidences overall, not every single type of crime occurred the most in Roxbury.
