What can we learn about crimes in the Boston area?
The dataset we used gave us many different types of crimes committed, categorized by offence code.
Using latitude, longitude, street, and district codes we are able to ask questions and analyze trends about crimes committed in different areas in Boston.
By looking at the hour, day, month, and year of crimes committed, we can find interesting trends on when certain crimes are more or less likely to be committed.
We collaborated our code using GitHub, check out our full project here
Find out what dataset we used, what technologies we used and other information we gathered to answer our questions.
We worked really hard to create this project because we have a strong belief that the data visualizations will tell a meaningful story and that our work will have a significant impact on people in Boston.
To answer questions about the Boston Crimes data set and create easy to read data visualizations that accurately analyze the data and tell a significant and meaningful story.
